Born within the City of Dreaming Spires, into a family with a rich and vibrant heritage spanning the Caribbean Islands, Native American and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Immersed within the kaleidoscope of colours, textures, cuisines and cultural values from a young age, I was raised as both a British female and a person of colour.

Frequently discovering domestic and international locations and cuisines, from networking trips, city breaks, long weekends, festivals, conferences, and more across Europe, Asia, and parts of North America.

With years of life experience, I accomplished a lot despite the frequent reminders of societal expectations and notions of internalised capitalism.

But, the best was yet to come...

The epiphany for the next phase of my life stirred during my thirtieth birthday whilst exploring four countries in one day. I needed a career break! And since I never had the opportunity to take a timeout, could now be the right time?

Well, after spontaneously completing a visa to live and work abroad, it most definitely was, and I had less than six months to prepare. Challenge accepted, and just like that, I decided to disrupt my entire life and move to the other side of the world solo for a while.

Throwing myself into that new environment at that stage of my life enabled me to thrive professionally and creatively around Australia, New Zealand, and Japan before returning to the UK.
